The Oct16th Paths to Shanti Workshop will be instructed by Ran Baron and Ronen Divon. Schedule is enclosed below. The workshop will take place on Saturday, Oct 16th, 10:00am-4:00pm, and will include a variety of practices including Yoga, Qigong, Pranayama and Meditation. We will cover practices not usually addressed in class. It will give participants a chance to experience various methods and different paths in the physical and spiritual realms, as well as gain a day of calm. Light lunch (fruits and vegetables) will be served. The workshop is open to ALL practicing levels including absolute beginners. Fee, including lunch and light refreshments is $65. Space is limited and registration is on a first comes first served basis.


Workshop Schedule
09:45-10:00 – Arrival and Sign-up
10:00-11:30 – Special Hatha Yoga Class. In this class we will explore the effects expansion and contraction have on the body, gaining an insight into our real limitations- the temporary ones as well as the envelop we each work within.
11:30-11:40 – Break
11:40-12:55 – Hard-to-Soft Qigong with emphasis on rapid movements and breathing.
12:45-1:30 – Lunch Break (light lunch including fruits and vegetables)
1:30-2:15 – Meditation Lecture including practice of anchoring techniques with a flavor of Zen as supplement to our monthly meditation sessions.
2:15-2:25 – Break
2:25-3:00 – Breathing Techniques: putting class material into everyday context when do we use what technique including triggers to remind us to use those techniques.
3:00-3:20 – Kirtan (musical spiritual chanting)
3:20-3:45 – Meditation Practice: short preparation followed by a 20 minutes meditation session.
3:45-4:00 – Parting Words (Tea and refreshments served)
